91 Points - Calvary Hill Lyndoch Shiraz 2010 August 07 2013

"Good hue, although not starry bright; as honest as the day is long, in the very heart of time-honoured Barossa Valley style; the flavours are rich and ripe, but not the least over the top; the oak is subtle, and the tannins ripe. 89 Points Calvary Hill Shiraz 2010 May 21 2013

Deep purple-black in color, the 2010 Calvary Hill Shiraz is intensely scented of creme de cassis, Chinese dried plums and mulberries with an undercurrent of mocha and sauteed Provencal herbs. Full-bodied and packed with evolving warm blackberry and savory flavors, it has a crisp acid line a medium level of rounded tannins, finishing long and peppery. Drink it now to 2016+.
